Energy and Mining Law
In the planning, development and operation of energy and mining investments we advise with the sector’s long-term investment structure and its permit and supervision processes kept in view together. Licences, permits, land-use rights and project contracts are reviewed comprehensively; the consistency of the obligations that arise at different stages of the investment is the basis of the project’s legal assessment.
Production, supply, construction and operation contracts are prepared in light of the project’s commercial terms and the relevant sector rules, and we support applications before public authorities as well as inspection and sanction processes. Where the investment is transferred or the shareholding changes, we examine the effect of existing permits and contracts on the proposed transaction, and we follow contractual disputes and administrative actions with the legal structure of the investment kept in view as a whole.
