Sports Law
Counsel and representation for athletes, clubs, agents and sporting bodies.
Sports Law
Drawing on experience in sports law, we advise and represent athletes, coaches, clubs, agents and other persons and organisations in the sector. Contractual rights and obligations are treated together with the particular structure of sporting activity; national legislation and the rules of the relevant federations and international sporting bodies form an integral part of the legal assessment.
We provide detailed support on player, transfer and agency contracts, remuneration disputes, sponsorship and image rights, and disciplinary and anti-doping proceedings, keeping time limits, competent bodies and the sporting calendar in view when preparing applications and defences. Proceedings before national and international federations, the relevant judicial bodies and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) are followed under the applicable jurisdiction and procedure, with the sporting and legal features of each file taken into account.
